- After graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a double major in History and Religious Studies, I decided to move to Hawaii. From Hawaii to Florida to Costa Rica, I have been pursuing my tropical dream of living in a beautiful place with a warm culture. Knowing that it is possible to make dreams come true, I would like to share with others how this opportunity is available to other like-minded people. Thanks for reaching out to me; I love it when Real Estate Agents are pro-activ and get things going. Unfortunately I really haven't met anyone that has asked me about buying Real estate in Costa Rica, but if someone does, then now I know who to refer them to. Maybe another avanue is for you the attend the National Association of Realtors Convention in San Diego November 2nd - 7th 2009 (close enough to Costa Rica), you just missed the last one in Orlando last month, but there they have an International Session where you can perhaps connect with Realtors from the US and elsewhere and perhaps refer business to eachother. If November is to far check out the NAR CIPS designation; Certified International Property Specialist. perhaps you can learn new techniques on how to promote your type of International Properties.
